I have wanted to be a doctor for as long as I can remember. My first memory of this was at 4 years old, watching in awe as my accident prone brother got stitches. The reason I have chosen naturopathic medicine is for its emphasis on “doctor as teacher.” My goal is to teach and empower others to take ownership of their health. I enjoy working with children and adults of all ages. My clinical interests include both primary care medicine and chronic illness. I am passionate about working with entire families to make healthy lifestyle changes. It is truly a gift to be able to participate in someone’s health at different stages of their life. I received my bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Neuroscience from Western Washington University. My undergraduate studies emphasized my knowledge of how everything in the body is connected. I believe optimal health can only be achieved when all aspects of a person are addressed: mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical. I enjoy taking time to get to know my patients to develop an individualized treatment plan. I received my doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University. I went on to complete a 2 year residency at a pediatric clinic focusing on neurodiversity including ASD, ADHD, SPD, mood disorders, and chronic autoimmune conditions. I have completed additional training in pediatrics, women’s health, homeopathy, mold-related illness, EDS (Ehler’s Danlos Syndrome), dysautonomias/POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), and craniosacral therapy. I live locally with my husband, son, dog, and 2 cats. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, the beach, listening to true crime podcasts, and an abundance of coffee.
