I was born and raised in Washington state, growing up in Snohomish county and graduating from Monroe High School. I received my bachelor’s degree in chemistry and psychology from Gonzaga University (Go Zags!) before attending Bastyr University, graduating with my doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine in 2018. After my receiving my undergraduate degree I spent a few years working in an Acupuncture office, Chiropractic office, and as a doula. It was through these experiences that I was driven to change my lifestyle and take control of my health. The more knowledge I acquired, the more I wanted to help educate those around me which led me to pursue my career in Naturopathy. I am passionate about primary care including women’s health, pediatrics, preconception health, and fertility management; taking advanced courses and working with local specialists in these areas during my education. I currently live locally with my husband, two young boys, and dog. I enjoy traveling, taking walks with my family, reading, and shopping.
My own health journey, pregnancy, child birth, and now parenting two young boys keeps me passionate about health care. As a naturopathic doctor and primary care practitioner, I believe in individualizing care by learning your story and educating you to make your own health decisions with confidence. I start with the lowest force interventions including diet and lifestyle modifications before using herbs, nutrients and homeopathy if needed. I can also move to higher force interventions such as pharmaceutical drugs, antibiotics, and referrals to specialists when and if necessary. Taking the time to get to know and develop relationships with my patients is vital in understanding and establishing health. I look forward to helping you establish optimal health.
